Boat and Bike tours

Enjoy a relaxing boat tour along the river's calm waters. Tours embark aboard the "Alcatejo" at 2pm from Alcochete pier to Nations Park/Vasco da Gama Bridge and Tagus Estuary Nature Reserve. Further information available at reception.

Alternatively, if you are feeling adventurous explore the Alcochete riverside area on two wheels. Bicycles available for guests at the Manor.

Golf

Just 15 minutes drive from Alcochete (around 25 Km) Ribagolfe is a stunning golf course characterized by fabulous greens and ancient cork oaks. Designed by European Golf Design, it features two courses for players who appreciate both natural beauty and a technical challenge. Savour some excellent regional cuisine at its restaurant or a relaxing drink at the bar.

Kitesurf & Windsurf

The often strong winds on the Tagus river attract all kinds of radical watersports fans to Alcochete including windsurfers and kitesurfers. Enjoy all the thrills of the most varied watersports in this magnificent natural setting.

Folk Festivals

The Alcochete Festivals are famous for their traditional charm and atmosphere. Don't miss the Barrete Verde  and Salinas Festivals held every year in August.
